ACADEMIC COURSE LEVELS
COLLEGE PREPARATORY
College Preparatory courses provide a suitably rigorous curriculum to prepare students so they may better meet the more stringent scholastic requirements for most colleges and universities.
HONORS (HON)
Honors courses are more academically challenging than College Preparatory courses. Honors Courses move at a quicker pace, cover material more in-depth, and may include additional topics. In many cases, students will be recommended by a teacher and/or receive a higher than average grade in a previous course.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP)
Advanced Placement courses offer a college-level curriculum. Colleges and universities may often grant placement and course credit to students who obtain high scores on the examinations.
SPECIAL EDUCATION
The Child Study Team works in partnership with parents and teachers to provide special services to enable students to participate in the regular programs to the maximum extent appropriate. Each student’s individual education program is designed to meet their educational needs and may include a wide range of services including co-teaching, resource centers, self-contained programs, related services and special placements.

Courses will be offered provided there is sufficient enrollment.
