Health Benefits terminate at 11:59 pm on your separation date from BCIT.  COBRA information will be sent from OCA, our COBRA Administrator, to your home address on record with BCIT outlining the option to enroll in COBRA to continue benefits but at the full cost of the current premium(s) plus an administration fee.  If you decide to participate in COBRA, benefits will be active the first day following your loss of coverage with BCIT.  The current premium(s) (not including administration fees) can be found under the Health Benefit information section.  Keep in mind that you may elect to change the plan size but not the plan description.  If you need to update your address, please submit an Employee Data Change Form.  This form is available on the district website located under Business Office > Personnel > Documents and Forms.
