BCIT Adult Ed Dental Assisting Graduation

The Burlington County Commissioners helped congratulate the latest graduates of the Burlington County Institute of Technologyā€™s Adult Education Dental Assistant program.

The program prepares students for careers as dental assistants, the often unsung heroes of health care who help dental offices function and deliver critical care by scheduling patients, maintaining records, preparing treatment rooms, instruments and equipment and assisting patients, dentists and hygienists.

Burlington County Commissioner Deputy Director Dan Oā€™Connell was honored to attend the graduation at BCIT-Westampton, and he addressed the graduates and their friends and family members.

ā€œWhile each of your stories is unique, there is one common thread. You received a top-notch education from Burlington County Institute of Technology,ā€ Oā€™Connell said. ā€œWhether youā€™re interested in a career in health care, animal care, the building trades, IT or cosmetology, this school provides you with the education and training you need to start a new or second career.ā€
